Key Initiatives

The Health Knowledge Network (HKN) uses a Balanced Score Card approach to understand its subscribers’ needs and to identify key business activities that align with our vision and strategy.

Identified initiatives include:

  • Implement a Customer Relationship Management system to manage communications and subscription information, and improve administrative procedures
  • Update HKN Website to improve communications with subscribers
  • Update HKN Access Agreement and Schedules A & B
  • Review and update vendor/publisher agreements.
  • Set up vendor demonstrations and training
  • Communicate current and new product offerings
  • Offer Product Trials
  • Attend & display at library conferences
  • Organize symposium / resource familiarization day
